Flu. I'm Ready For You.

Vaccine offers best defence against flu

If you have an underlying health condition, are pregnant, or are 65 years old or over, then the best defence against flu is this year’s vaccine.

The free flu vaccine is available from October to March at GP practices to help protect people from the most common strains of flu circulating this winter.  It takes around 10 days to work, so the sooner you get it the better. Its the safest and most effective way of protecting yourself.

Children aged 2 to 5 and not yet attending school are eligible for an intra-nasal flu vaccine at the GP practice. Primary school children will be offered the intra-nasal vaccine at school vaccine. The intra-nasal vaccine is only available from October to December.

Make an appointment with us as soon as possible to receive the flu vaccine. It only takes a few minutes to get vaccinated and it will help to keep you well over the winter.

Show flu who’s boss by getting vaccinated.
